We got to connect with Anirudh Reddy, a 2x founder and Stanford grad working on a new AI startup, via Twitter last year.

We jumped at this opportunity since SDE hiring is our speciality. We quickly gathered and understood his requirements, discussed the recruiting engagement pricing, completed the formalities, and started looking for ideal engineers.

We introduced him to one engineer we already knew from our network. But it turned out he was more backend heavy and wasn’t the best fit for Rifflix.
Based on this feedback, we decided to source fresh applicants from Twitter and LinkedIn. We got ~50 applicants which isn’t a huge number but because we sourced them from Twitter, the average quality of each applicant was higher.
Still reviewing 50 applicants takes quite some work and that’s where we come in, we reviewed all 50 and ranked them based on the requirements. We added notes for the top 5 candidates and shared the ranked list to Aniruddh.

This helped him to save time and review just the Top 5 candidates. And things worked out this way! Aniruddh shortlisted two candidates from the top 5 profiles we had shared with him.

We helped him co-ordinate and setup meetings with the two shortlisted engineers. And just a few weeks later they ended up joining! These two engineers were:
  • Debabrata Mondal: Had 2+ YOE, had worked at multiple startups. Had built a vector database of his own that had sold multiple subscriptions for it.
  • Royal Sangha: Had 3+ YOE, had built numerous AI apps for a variety of use-cases in his current role and had good full-stack experience.
Hence, our Twitter Network and our Resume Screening processed helped Rifflix hire two engineers. They had to review a total of just 6 profiles: 1 we had introduced via email and the 5 we had shortlisted via email.
