How we helped a Trading Platform hire two Backend Devs

We got to re-connect with Akshaya Aron, Co-Founder and CEO of FereAI, a Vibe Trading platform that has raised $2.5M from top Web3 VCs, back in early June.

After a couple of iterations, we were able to help them hire two great Backend Engineers for their team who had great skills, interesting work experience, and had graduated from top Indian engineering universities.
Gathering the requirements
They were looking to hire Backend Engineers for their team. After hopping on a call and understanding the requirements, we got to work.
One unique thing about their requirement was that they had a 6 days work week culture. That limited our options because a good chunk of applicants weren’t ready for this level of commitment but we relented because comprising on culture means death by a thousand cuts.
Absolute Cinema Drama
Things took a great start, they made an offer to a candidate from the very first batch of screened candidates we sent to them.
Unfortunately, that candidate up backing out in the first week itself. Candidates leaving or dropping ghosting near the joining date is a common phenomenon at least in India. We knew this so we had kept the hiring pipeline running and resumed sharing them candidates.
Success!
But again after a couple of iterations, we were able to help them find two backend engineers who were even stronger technical and culture fit.
