SpaceHarpoon, a boutique web3 data & product studio, was looking to bring on a Frontend Developer to support their growing product team and accelerate feature delivery.

Sid (CEO) and Shubham (CTO) were in search of someone who could thrive in a fast-paced development cycle and contribute meaningfully from day one. To find the right fit, they reached out to TechKareer.

The focus was on identifying candidates with solid frontend fundamentals, experience building responsive interfaces, and the ability to collaborate closely with designers and backend teams.

We already had been in touch with a good Frontend Developer via our community: Tushar Verma. Based on our previous interactions with him, we knew:
  • Had an eye for good-design: Branding of his projects and YouTube channel were great
  • Cared about performance: He answered a non-trivial question about a performance optimization question in our community
  • Was entrepreneurial: Had built and released multiple SaaS products on his own
  • Was great at communication: Ran his own YouTube channel where he posted high-quality technical educational content

Based on these qualities, we knew he would be a great fit. So, we just referred his profile to the CTO.

After two rounds of interviews, he was hired by Spaceharpoon. This was a pleasant surprise for us because he was the only profile we referred to Spaceharpoon and it was great to see that we were able to close the opening in one go. It was a pleasure working with the CTO to close this opening.
