In 2025 we placed 15 people at 11 companies. 10 of the 15 were engineers. We also made our first growth hire (Dodo Payments), our first social media hires (Ballers and Donna) and a product manager for goIRL.
The fastest searches were the ones where the right person was already in our community. RapidNode and Crework Labs each closed in under two weeks. FereAI took the longest, because their first pick backed out in his first week and we had to keep the pipeline going.
FereAIFereAI is a trading platform that has raised $2.5M. They work six days a week, which ruled out many applicants.
Their first offer went to a candidate from our first batch, who backed out in the first week. We had kept the pipeline running, so they hired Ram (IIT Kharagpur, 4 years of experience) and Swaraj Bari (NIT Jamshedpur, 2 years at GenAI startups) from the next batches.
Dodo PaymentsRishabh Goel messaged us on Twitter looking for a growth lead. We had never hired for growth before. We collected over 250 applicants and sent him three.
He picked Joshua D'Costa, who had brought in $150k of revenue and a $2M pipeline at Xoxoday. Before making the offer, Rishabh asked to speak to Joshua's former managers, and we set up those calls.
RapidNodeTanishq Mehta wanted an AI and DevOps intern. We posted the role in GoodGigs, our community of over 1,000 engineers, and the first interviews were booked within 15 minutes.
RapidNode hired Savar Bhasin, an IIIT Delhi student, and Karthik Nadar, a college dropout with a list of strong side projects. Tanishq later referred Uniqus to us.
Kairos.computerManas Bam and Samarth P. knew us from founder meetups. They wanted students who understood the fundamentals and had used recent tools such as MCP and LoRA fine-tuning.
We handled sourcing, the take-home assignment and interview scheduling. They hired Abhay Shukla and Yogesh Chebrolu.
FunnelKitDaman Jeet first hired a PHP engineer through us in 2024. In 2025 he came back and hired two more people.
Kartik Singh, a UI/UX designer from Truminds, received his offer in March. Lavish Goyal, who had worked on high-scale systems at Letterdrop (YC W20), joined as an AI software engineer in the first half of the year.
spaceharpoonWe already knew Tushar Verma from our community. He had shipped his own SaaS products, ran a technical YouTube channel, and had answered a hard performance question in our community.
We sent his profile alone to spaceharpoon's CTO. After two interview rounds, they hired him.
